The Hohenwerfen Castle is a “sister” of the Hohensalzburg Fortress and has developed into one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Salzburg Innergebirg region.
The steep path has been so far a major problem to visit the castle. With the new inclined lift it is now also possible for older visitors, families with children or persons with physical disabilities to visit the Hohenwerfen Castle.
