Inclined Lift «Mühlenkopfschanze»
Council Willingen (Upland), Hessen, Germany
Around 150,000 visitors arrive every year at the Mühlenkopf Ski Jump to watch the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Willingen, Germany.
In order to provide the ski jumpers a comfortable ascent to the jump area, a modern, fully-automatic ‘Twinliner’-type funicular has been erected. In addition to this, the funicular is also used for transporting all materials for the jumpers and the restaurant.
As a special attraction, the cableway operates during the entire year so guests may visit this spectacular jump any time they like.
